Josh Kalis nació en Michigan, uno de los más grandes skateboarders, quien popularizo, trucos, códigos, tendencias, pero sobre todo el emblemático “LOVE Park” en los años 90s.
Quien desde sus inicios Dc Shoes se volvió parte de él, en 1997 decidieron unir fuerzas DC Shoes y Josh Kalis, sacando a la venta su clásico KALIS OG.
Un par demasiado limitado en su época, solo muy pocos pudieron probar este Kalis Og en las calles y con la patineta. Este par se ha reinventado en muchas ocasiones, en 2017 con su versión Lite la cual busca conectar de una mejor manera con los jóvenes y con futuras generaciones.
